Rhodiola chetyrechlennaya is a very rare plant, belonging to the genus Rhodiola subfamily of the tolstiankovych, referring to the tolstiankovy family, means "fat" in Latin. Fleshy, juicy stems and leaves are the main feature of this family. The genus Rhodiola is small, Central Asian, most of the species are widespread in the mountains, many of them are exclusively decorative. A perennial herbaceous plant 10-30 cm tall, a leafy succulent, with a woody, powerful, mostly branching, multi-headed tap root. The red brush or rhodiola chetyrechlennaya is collected exclusively by hand. The roots of the red brush are harvested in spring or autumn. They are dug up, cleaned from the earth, washed, crushed. They are dried under a canopy or in dryers at 50-60ºС. Store in paper bags in a dry place, protected from light and inaccessible to children, at a temperature not higher than 25°C. The crushed raw material is represented by pieces of red-brown rhizomes and roots. The surface is smooth, the fracture is even. The shelf life of the raw material is 2 years.
