Botanical uterus is usually called one-sided orthilia in botanical literature. Ortilia one-sided is a small perennial herbaceous bare plant, 5-20 cm tall, with a fast-growing long creeping branched rhizome, from which numerous, thin accessory roots depart, as well as ascending above-ground shoots. The entire aerial part (flowers, stems, leaves) of the plant is harvested. Harvesting of raw materials is carried out during flowering, from spring to deep autumn. The collected grass is dried in the shade in the open air or in a well-ventilated room.
