Winter rapeseed DK Seaks "Dekalb", Kyiv

DK Seax winter rape seeds - hybrid from the Manufacturer "Dekalb"
A hybrid with low biomass, characterized by rapid rates of germination and the formation of a powerful developed leaf rosette before wintering. Early and friendly recovery of vegetation in the spring, good winter hardiness and high drought resistance - all these features determine the high plasticity and high productivity potential of the hybrid in arid and stressful conditions.

Recommendations for growing a hybrid
Recommended growing zones: all zones.
Recommended technology type: intensive.
Relation to soils: suitable for growing on all types of soils in terms of mechanical composition.
Reaction of the hybrid to densities: needs optimal densities.
Sowing calendar period: early - August 1-10, optimal - August 10-20, late - August 20-30. (Possible shift of sowing dates towards earlier by 5–15 days)

Recommended sowing rate: early sowing periods – 400–450 thousand/ha, optimal periods – 450–500 thousand/ha, late periods – 500–600 thousand/ha.
Use of morpho-regulators: Use of morpho-regulators: mandatory at early sowing times. In areas with high risks of overwintering at optimal and late sowing dates, the use of morphoregulators is desirable as a measure to increase winter hardiness.

Recommended areas for growing are Forest Steppe, Polyssia, Steppe of Ukraine.

Feeding of winter rapeseed.

There are 3 main "critical" stages, during which the greatest need for nutrients (especially trace elements) is observed:

Formation of a leaf rosette (foliar feeding allows you to prepare the plant for winter) - NewPlant Neo - 2 l/ha;
The beginning of stemming - NewPlant Stimulin - 2 l/ha;
Budding - NewPlant Uni - 1l/ha + NewPlant Bor - 2l/ha + NewPlant Polynitrogen IQ 3l/ha.
