Asbestos LA-2 sheets are used for cutting gaskets intended for sealing the joint of two contacting surfaces: for sealing the joint of the head with the cylinder block of carburetor and diesel engines, for sealing the joints of exhaust gas release systems with the edging of working holes. The products are operational at temperatures up to -60°С, are used in a wide range of temperatures - - up to 400°С, pressurized to 0.35 MPa and under the influence of various media:gasoline, dieselfuel and their combustion products, automotive anddiesel oils, cooling liquids, water, antifreezes with the addition of anticorrosive additives. Sheets are made from a perforated frame, covered on both sides with asbolatex paper. The surface of the sheets has a graphite coating based on synthetic rubber.
