Steel 10880/Э10/АРМКО is an electrotechnical unalloyed steel used in the industry in the manufacture of various electrotechnical products. In its chemical composition, 10880 does not differ from such a steel grade as 10895. Due to this fact, it is often used as its substitute. The main difference between these brands is different coercive force (resistance to demagnetization). In 10880, this force is up to 80 A/m, in 10895 - up to 95 A/m, respectively, steel 10880 (E10) is less resistant to demagnetization. At factories, when making products from 10880, when measuring, the coercive force may turn out to be somewhat higher than allowed by GOST 11036-75, and then 10880 will automatically become 10895. But in fact, in certificates for steel 10880, you can often find that this parameter is equal to 60-65 A/m. The assortment, shape and dimensions of rolled steel from 10880 are regulated by GOSTs:
• in circles - GOST 2590-2006;(//tractor-service.com)
• by squares - GOST 2591-88;
• on forged circles and squares - GOST 1133-71;
• according to sheet specification - GOST 3836-83, TU 14-1-3070-80.
