Biochar /fertilizer/, Odesa region.

Biochar

The use of biochar adds many positive qualities to the soil. It increases yield, in some cases up to 30-40%, especially when used in poor soils. It prevents the leaching offertilizer and ensures the ignition of fertilizer in its structure in a form accessible to plants.
Unique properties of Biochar -
Increases the porosity of the earth by a thousand times.
Accelerates the growth rate of the plant
Increases the availability of Ca, Mg, P and K in the soil
Preserves soil moisture(//tractor-service.com)
It preserves nutrients for the root system. It is a perfect reservoir of macro and microelements.
Stabilizes the soil
It prevents the earth from clumping together
The transport pathway for mycorrhizae and bacteria accelerates the consumption of nutrients by the roots.
Increases soil fertility, increases total biomass
Stimulates symbiotic nitrogen fixation in the root system.

Due to its specific properties, biochar is an important candidate for use in agriculture to improve the quality of soils poor in humus and nutrients. Waste biomass is processed into a high-quality organic agent for increasing soil fertility. The high porosity of the biochar together with its further specific properties leads to an increase in the retention of nutrients and moisture in the soil. Laboratory experiments and direct application in agriculture have confirmed significantly increased crop growth with lower water consumption. The introduction of biochar into the soil, among other things, improves biological processes and long-term soil fertility. In addition to the proven improvement of agricultural and economic parameters, biochar serves as a simple and effective tool for CO2 storage. cost 20 hryvnias \kg
