Universal planter Ultima by Köckerling is known for its high operational reliability under almost any conditions. For many years, many professional agricultural enterprises have used the Ultima seed drill for sowinggrains, rapeseed, field beans, peas and even corn. Excellent yields and at the same time low cost of operation characterize this machine.
Seed material is sown in strips 60 mm wide. From the middle of one row to the middle of the second = 185 mm. This improved distribution gives seedlings optimal nutrition and reduces the risk of diseases. Sturdy racks like seed coulters with a load of more than 230 kg optimally withstand the specified seeding depth. This is very important for continuous sowing, for example, rapeseed, or deep sowing, for example, field beans or peas. Single-acting hydraulic cylinders on each coulter are used to set the working depth and at the same time serve as shock absorbers on uneven and stony soils. In addition, they reduce the vibrations of the seed drill. This ensures a smooth running of the machine, even at a high operating speed of 15-20 km/h.
Each sowing chisel coulter copies the soil by means of a copying roller moving in front. This guarantees compliance with the seeding depth at the specified depth even on an uneven surface and at high speed. Changes in seeding depth can be adjusted hydraulically from the tractor cab. All coulters are interconnected by hydraulichose. In case of obstacles, in the form of large stones, the coulters can be deflected without damage.
The hydraulic planning shield is intended for leveling the soil horizon along the plow furrow and along the stubble, as well as for breaking up large clods of earth.
Control of the vas deferens controls the passage of seeds inconnected hoses, which will inform the driver about blockage of the vas deferens. Malfunctions can be quickly identified and eliminated.
