It is generally accepted that forged retractable gates must be rectangular. In such a design, it is more convenient to install the upper guide rollers. But the gate must be both beautiful and comfortable. Therefore, the shape of the gate should not affect the type of opening. We combined the beauty of swing gates and the convenience of retractable gates. For this purpose, a design with decorative plates and a 63x63mm corner, along which the guide rollers move, was developed.
The second moment in retractable gates is the weight of the gate itself. Big weight is bad. Automation quickly breaks down. Beams are also designed for a certain weight (up to 700 kg). There are also reinforced beams, but their cost is much higher.
With our technology of forging pipes 20x20 and 15x15, we invest in the norm. Also, the pipe is more voluminous than a square of similar weight. This is an additional plus to the beauty of our gates. Agree that even 30% savings in everything is significant.
Perhaps you have already paid attention to the texture of our forged elements (veins). We borrowed this method of texture from the old European masters. We liked the result so much that since 2005, we have been making all our products with such a pattern. Only earlier we punched a square, and now a pipe. Also, this texture has a nice patina.
We "sewing" the gate with a sheet 1.5 mm thick. We close the joints of the sheets on the reverse side with a strip of 40x4 mm.
Before creating our catalog, we conducted a survey. People were offered to rate the gates on a scale of 1 to 10. Only, not simply by beauty, but by which of the options they would order themselves. 50 gates participated in the survey. There were, like our previous ones, pictures from the Internet.
