Mechanism of action:

Flufenacet belongs to the chemical class of oxycetamides - inhibitors of seedling root growth, a substance with a systemic effect, transported by the apoplast, and has meristematic activity. The main symptoms of damage caused by seedling root inhibitors, subsequent twisting of the roots; the formation of tumors at the tips of the roots; delayed development of lateral roots; twisting or destruction in the hypocotyl zone; formation of calluses at the base of the stem. Germinated weeds can have a purple or red color and a depleted stem.

Terbuthylazine destroys chloroplasts and suppresses the process of photosynthesis. As a result, breathing stops and the energy balance is disturbed, which causes a violation of the general vital activity of the weed and leads to its death. The active substance has a systemic and contact effect, is absorbed both by the roots (with soil application) and by the leaves of weeds (with post-emergence application), moves through the xylem acropetally and accumulates in the apical meristems. The characteristic symptoms of the drug are yellowing of the vegetative mass followed by death (necrosis).

The optimal conditions for soil application of Aspect Pro are the presence of moisture in the upper layer of finely lumpy produced soil, on the surface of which a protective screen is formed. Aspect Pro does not need to be wrapped in soil. Mechanical tillage of the soil after the formation of the protective screen destroys it and reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

Under the condition of using Aspect Pro as a partner for crop vegetation, Laudis is the first to be added to the tank solution, then Aspect Pro and at theend of adhesive Mero. The addition of Mero adhesive significantly increases the effectiveness of the mixture against weeds. The presence of moisture in the upper layer of the soil at the time of application of the mixture contributes to the soil action of Aspect Pro and prevents further germination of weeds.
