Baza - Post-emergence contact herbicide for protecting soybean crops from annual dicotyledonous weeds, incl. resistant to 2,4-D and 2M-4X
Active substance: Bentazone 480 g/l
Preparative form: Soluble concentrate
Container: 20 liter canister, the price is for 1 liter.
Mechanism of action: The active substance is absorbed by the plant at the site of impact. Once inside the plant, it moves mainly from the base to the top (acropetal). Moving along the plant, it blocks the photosynthetic transport of electrons, as a result of which the assimilation of CO 2 is interrupted, the plant dies after a short stop in development. The first visual signs of the drug's operation are observed 3-5 days after application, depending on weather conditions. Residual death of weeds occurs within two weeks from the moment of using the drug.

Phase of weed development: The effectiveness of the drug depends on the phase of weed development at the time of applying the drug. The best phase of weed development is 2-4 real leaves.
Compatibility: The drug is compatible with most pesticides on the relevant crops, but a compatibility test must be carried out in each specific case. It is not recommended to mix with anti-grass herbicides. The interval between treatments should be at least 2 days.
Consumption rate of working solution: 200-300 l/ha. Before use, the container with the drug should be thoroughly mixed. Add the necessary amount of the drug to the tank for preparing the working solution, filled with water to ⅓-¼ of the volume, stirring constantly. In a few minutes, add water to the full volume of the tank. Use the working solution on the day of its preparation.
The maximum number of treatments: 1.
The period from processing to
harvest is not established.
Disclaimer:
It is not recommended to use the drug if cultivated plants are in a state of stress (frost, drought, exposure to high or low temperatures, sharp fluctuations in air temperature, chemical stress).
