Herbicide Soigard - a post-emergence systemic selective herbicide of the sulfonylurea group for effective control of dicotyledonous and cereal weeds on soybean crops. Due to the high concentration of the active substance, it is a unique drug on the market of plant protection products in Ukraine.

Spraying period - From 1 to 5 trifoliate leaves; weeds in the phase of active growth and no later than 4 leaves for broad-leaved and 3 leaves for narrow-leaved ones

Mechanism of action:

It quickly reaches the weeds through the leaves and moves into the growth zones of the roots and stems. Blocks the enzyme acetolactase synthase, which promotes the synthesis of replacement amino acids: leucine and valine, as a result of which cell division and weed development stop. Visible signs of action appear within 3-5 days, leaf chlorosis and complete death are observed 1-3 weeks after the use of the drug.

Recommendations for use:

The optimal application temperature is from +10 to +27ºС (and not lower than 5ºС) in windless weather, ideally on moderately moist soil. Rain or irrigation 1-3 days after application improves the effectiveness of the drug. It is not recommended to apply to soybean crops that are in a state of stress due to cold, heat, drought, mechanical damage or flooding due to rain and the presence of dew residues on the surface of weeds. Do not use on soil with a pH above 7. The drug is effective in tank mixtures with herbicides Harmonik WG, VG; Bentagran SL,PK; Picket SL, PK; Pectoral SL, PK, however, a compatibility test is required in each individual case. Do not use in tank mixtures with organophosphorus insecticides. The following crop rotation should be observed: soybean - without restrictions, after three months you can sow winter cereals, next spring - grain ears, peas,corn, a year later in the spring - sunflower, rapeseed, another year later - vegetables.
