Range of action:
Resistant species. Fungi and fungi of the genera Peronospora, Prytophtora, Pthium do not have a killing effect on rust. The drug is not effective against powdery mildew.
Also, Benlat does not affect Phycomycetes (species of genera Alternaria, Helmintosporium, Sclerotinia) and bacteria.
Features of the action. When processing vegetative plants, the substance moves in the tissues of the treated leaf, but it does not enter other leaves, so new leaves may be prone to infection. In this regard, after the termination of the protective effect, the treatment must be repeated.
Insecticidal and acaricidal properties. It has an acaricidal effect, thanks to its ovicidal properties it suppresses spider mites and suppresses melon aphids.
It strongly suppresses the larvae of the buckwheat leaf-eater (Gastrophysa polygoni) and inhibits the regeneration of adults, but does not affect the eggs. Has a side effect on soil-dwelling nematodes.
Low toxicity for whitefly eggs.
Resistance. With the systematic use of benomyl, resistant strains of the pathogen appear, but when the fungicide is replaced, resistance disappears.

Mechanism of action:
The fungicidal effect of the drug is due to the violation of the reproductive function of fungi. The active substance disrupts the distribution of the cell nucleus of phytopathogens by interacting with the protein of microtubules. Metabolites affect the breathing process. It is assumed that the protective effect is due to the prevention of the penetration of pathogens into plant tissues in the early phase of pathogenesis due to the inhibition of cutinase.

The maximum number of treatments: grain ears - 2, flowers - 3.
The waiting period from the last treatment toharvest cereals - 30 days, flowers - 5, sugar beet - 30 days on other crops - not established.
Fundazol is used for spraying plants during the growing season, treating seeds and planting material, disinfecting the soil. It is advisable to carry out the treatment at a temperature of 15-25° C. An important factor for the effective effect of the drug is the quality of the coating during spraying (sufficient wetting of the entire surface of the leaves without running off the working solution from the treated surface).

Compatibility: Fundazol can be used simultaneously with most drugs: insecticides, fungicides, pesticides and growth regulators. Fundazol is not compatible with drugs from the class of benzimidazoles and with alkaline drugs. You can check the compatibility of the drugs by mixing a small amount of them, and if a precipitate appears as a result of the reaction, the substances cannot be mixed.
