Characteristics of the fungicide Strobi®
The active substance of the Strobi® kresoxim-methyl fungicide forms stable reserves on the wax coating of plant parts. Continuous release and redistribution of the active substance occurs over several weeks. Due to this, kresoxim-methyl is evenly distributed both on the surface of the plant and inside it (quasi-systemically) and provides reliable and long-lasting protection of the grapevine against oidium. Strobi® creates a protective film on the leaves andberries, preventing the germination of spores. The drug also prevents the reproduction and further development of the fungus, effectively restraining the process of sporulation. Kresoxim-methyl interrupts the transfer of electrons in the mitochondrial respiratory chain of harmful cellsmushrooms. Strobi® is tank-mixed with most fungicides andinsecticides. The results of the conducted experiments and agronomic practice show the high reliability of the action of treatment with a Strobi® tank mixture with Delan® or Poliram® DF contact fungicides (Strobi® hectare rate + 75% of the hectare rate of contact fungicide), especially in cases of epiphytotic development of the disease.
