 MECHANISM OF ACTION:
       Askra® Xpro is an innovative fungicide of the new generation for the control of a whole complex of diseases of barley andwheat. The fungicide contains two active substances, bixafen and flopiram, which belong to the SDHI (succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor) class, and prothioconazole from the azole class. Due to the mechanisms of action, bixafen inhibits the function of mitochondria in the chain of electron transport during respiration due to inhibition of the enzyme succinate dehydrogenase, inhibition by prothioconazole of dimethylase, the enzyme responsible for the biosynthesis of sterols, which in turn disrupts the integrity of the cell walls of pathogenic fungi and leads to the death of the latter, and fluopiram stops the function of mitochondrial respiration in the cells of the pathogen (complex II), there is a powerful preventive and therapeutic control of pathogenic fungi. As a result, a positive effect on the physiological state of plants is noted, they become greener with better developed leaf mass, a stronger root system.
