Talendo® is the newest fungicide for powdery mildew control in apple and grape orchards. Due to the new, complex mechanism of action, it shows high efficiency and long-term protection (up to 3 weeks). Recommended as an anti-resistance tool.

Talendo® has the ability to activate a significant part of the culture's genes responsible for the natural protective reaction to pathogen exposure.

Stimulation of genes in a plant initiates internal protective reactions of cultivated plants, which ensures:

increasing the resistance of apple and grape plantations to powdery mildew and oidium; 
increasing the effectiveness of control of other diseases; increasing the winter resistance of plantings
The pronounced gas effect allows you to completely cover the working surface (tree shoots, leaves, fruits, bunches) and control the pathogen even in places where the working solution is difficult to get to.

Spores of the causative agent of powdery mildew or oidium, which fall on a leaf of a culture after Talendo® treatment, lose the ability to form appressoria, which makes it impossible for the causative agent to penetrate the plant in the future. Thanks to its properties, the active substance proquinazid inhibits the formation, spread and germination of spores, thereby providing a significant reduction in the level of infection and reliable protection against the causative agent of the disease.

MECHANISM OF DRUG ACTION

Able to spread over a considerable distance (up to 40 cm) and act due to the vapor phase (gas effect). That is, it protects areas of plants where the working solution did not get during spraying.
Such properties of the drug ensure uniform coverage of the culture with the drug and effective and long-term protection. 

RECOMMENDATIONS
To achieve high efficiency of protection against powdery mildew diseases, Talendo® should be used prophylactically, before the first signs of the disease appear. It is also possible to use a fungicide at the first manifestations of the disease, but if there are signs of a widespread spread of the pathogen, it is worth using Talendo® in tank mixtures with systemic preparations, for example, triazoles to enhance the therapeutic effect. To achieve the maximum effect, a spraying program is recommended: 2 treatments on apple trees and 3 treatments on vineyards.

Prophylactic use of a fungicide guarantees the achievement of the best results in protecting grapes from diseases.

Talendo® is most effective when applied prophylactically. 
Preventive treatments must be started based on forecasts.
