It is characterized by medium rates ofmoisture release by grain during ripening, but has high heat and drought resistance, uncharacteristic of hybrids of the early ripening group.

The DB Lada hybrid is close to the DN Garant hybrid in its genetic model, but has a more stable F1 grain yield, especially in dry years. According to test data at the State Institute of Grain CropsGrain Crops Institute in 2014-15, the average grain yield of the DB Lada hybrid in the competitive test was 6.94 t/ha with a grain moisture content of 14.4%, for comparison, the DN Garant hybrid had a grain yield of 6.60 t/ha, and a grain moisture content of 14.4% 14.9%.
