The Dostoiny winter barley variety has increased adaptability to growing conditions, especially in southern Ukraine. There is an opportunity to sow this variety in February windows. The yield reaches about 99 t/ha.

The Dostoyn variety belongs to the pallidum variety. The spikelet is six-rowed, has an average length of 6-8 cm, is not very dense, and has a slight brittleness. The ear has a regular rectangular shape, in the upper part it turns into a rhombic one, it has a straw-yellow color. Ears of the Dostoiny variety are slightly wide, elastic, of a rich yellow shade.

The bush of this winter barley is semi-suspended. The leaf is unpubescent, green in color, and has a slight wax coating. Crops have a height of about 100 - 105 cm.Grain of the same size, medium size, somewhat elongated.
