Mechanism of action of Mirald insecticide
It acts on contact and is characterized by a quick "knockout" effect. Affects all mobile stages of tick development (larva, nymph and adult). Destroys ticks resistant to other acaricides.
The mechanism of action combines two processes:
inhibition of mitochondrial ATP synthesis, causes interruption of normal metabolism and respiration of ticks;
inhibition of MAO, which interrupts the electron transport function of the nervous system.
