Noria is a device designed for lifting loose materials in a vertical direction.
It is a vertical belt conveyor with buckets, due to the continuous movement of which material is lifted. As a rule, the conveyor is placed in a rectangular pipe (noria box). The material in the lower part is picked up by buckets, moves vertically and is discharged through a nozzle in a horizontal direction in the upper part of the noria. Buckets go down overturned.
