APPLICATION OF METRIZAN HERBICIDE
The drug Metryzan is used before and after crop emergence. The application rate before crop growth depends on the mechanical composition of the soil and its potential weediness. On light soils, low rates are used, and on heavy soils, the rate is increased to the maximum. The soil must be well prepared and moist. After using the drug, it is not recommended to carry out mechanical processing of the soil, because this will destroy the screen of the drug and thereby reduce its herbicidal effect. During the growing season, herbicide treatment should be carried out in the morning or in the evening at an air temperature of 15 to 25˚C.
PREPARATION OF HERBICIDE WORKING SOLUTION
The water for preparing the working solution must be clean. A large amount of silty particles, sand or clay in the water can significantly affect the effectiveness of the herbicide. When using hard water, it is recommended to use reduced concentrations of the working solution and increased doses of the drug.
The working solution is prepared immediately before carrying out the herbicide treatment: measure the required amount of the drug for one filling of the sprayer and fill the tank by a third with water, then turn on the mixer. Then you should pour the necessary amount of the drug into the
sprayer and, after thorough mixing, add water to the full volume.
WARNING! The mixer must be turned on when preparing the working solution and when spraying.
