Polkar is a systemic contact-intestinal insecticide of the neonicotinoid class, against a wide range of pests with a new mechanism of action that does not lead to resistance in insects with a protective effect from 14 to 21 days.

The insecticidal effect of the drug is manifested by its effect on the nervous system of insects, which leads to their death from excessive nervous excitement and paralysis. Depending on the type of insect, the drug exhibits a toxic effect on different stages of pest development: eggs, larvae, and adults.
