Chlorpyrifos belongs to the class of organophosphorus compounds (FOCs), which are substances of nerve-paralytic action.

The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of the activity of esterases, primarily acetylcholinesterase (AXE), which plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses. When this enzyme is blocked by a pesticide, free acetylcholine accumulates in the synaptic cleft, and the normal passage of nerve impulses is disrupted - as a result, tremor (convulsive activity of muscles) occurs, which turns into paralysis.

Cypermethrin belongs to the class of pyrethroids, which are characterized by relative photostability, selective toxicity, taking into account metabolic degradation. These are contact-gastric insecticides with high initial biological activity. The mechanism of action is related to the disruption of the sodium ion exchange process, membrane depolarization. The active substance prolongs the opening of channels for sodium, disrupts the exchange of calcium ions, which leads to the release of a large amount of acetylcholine during the passage of a nerve impulse through the synaptic cleft.

Weather conditions during the application period:
A mandatory requirement is to ensure continuous coverage of the area and abundant wetting of plants during application of the drug. On days with a high temperature, spraying should be carried out in the evening or in the morning.
