When the fat melts, the mixture is poured into cold water, taken out and rolled into a lump. Such putty is stored for a long time. Before use, it should be heated a little for plasticity.

It is desirable to heat purchased garden var, because, depending on its recipe, it hardens at a low positive or negative temperature.

6 parts of paraffin, 3 parts of rosin and 2 parts of mineral oil or vegetable oil are taken. The paraffin is melted, the rosin is ground to a powder and added to the liquid. Oil is added when the mixture boils.

The resulting mixture should be boiled for about 15-30 minutes. After the mass has cooled, it must be kneaded to a uniform consistency. You can also add one part of rosin and one part of transmission oil to one part of paraffin.
