Mulard was bred as a result of selective crossing of Muscovy ducks with Peking ducks.
This meat breed. Ideal for commercial fattening.
(because her liver, like goose liver, is used for such an exquisite dish as foie gras),
as well as for breeding at home.
This breed is very suitable for those who do not like fatty duck meat,
because the percentage of fat is only 3%. Which, according to its characteristics, can be compared to goose meat,

Mulard eats the same amount of feed as other broiler ducks, but they grow faster.
Mulard is a herbivorous duck and can grow practically without the usual "duck" diet.
