The variety was created by the method of individual multiple selection of early ripening plants of the Blagodatnoe variety.
Variety-aureum.

Plants are 60-75 cm tall.
The bush is upright, the stem is of medium thickness, quite strong, well leafy.
The leaves are dark green, elongated lanceolate, the plumage is weak.
The panicle is spreading, not dense, of medium length (19.0-20.2 cm),
pads are present only on the lower side branches (twigs).
The variety "Poltava Golden" is selectively adapted to difficult climatic conditions, able to use spring moisture and short-term precipitation as efficiently as possible to form a generous harvest. According to the State Commission for Variety Testing, it ripens evenly and is more resistant to shedding compared to the standard.
