Mechanism of action
Thiophanate-methyl is absorbed by above-ground vegetative organs of plants, spreads through the vascular system acropetally (from bottom to top), thus blocking the development of pathogens. Epoxiconazole blocks the formation of ergosterol in the cells of the fungus. Due to the lack of ergosterol, fungi are unable to form cell membranes. The consequence of this is blocking the growth and further development of the harmful fungus. Tebuconazole is quickly absorbed by plants through vegetative organs and, moving mainly acropetally, is evenly distributed in the central part of the stem. The action of tebuconazole is manifested in the inhibition of ergosterol synthesis in the cell membranes of pathogen fungi, which leads to their death. Fast action and a long protective period.
