Mechanism of action:
The active substance of the fungicide Starpro - tebuconazole is an inhibitor of the dimethylation process of the biosynthesis of styrenes and disrupts the selectivity of the permeability of cell membranes of pathogens. Tebuconazole is usually distributed inside the leaf more evenly, providing a longer-lasting protective effect, compared to other active substances of fungicides.
Special characteristics Starpro KS fungicide, along with its high effectiveness against fungal diseases, has a significant effect on the development of the aerial part of winter rapeseed plants, restraining its growth and activating the lateral branching of the stem. Thanks to this, the plants are more compact and more resistant to lodging.
Starpro's recommendations for rape can be applied both in autumn and in spring. The fungicide Starpro, applied at the standard rate of 0.45 l/ha in the autumn in the phase of 4-8 leaves in winter rapeseed plants, effectively controls the development of fomosis and cylindrosporiosis and contributes to the increase of winter hardiness due to the suppression of the growth of the main stem and the formation of a compact rosette with a thickened and deeply embedded root neck, a well-developed root system with an increased content of plastic substances.
The application of Starpro fungicide in the spring at the rate of 0.6 l/ha in the phase of intensive growth of the main stem - full flowering of rapeseed provides protection against pathogens of alternariosis and sclerotiniosis and helps to increase the resistance of plants to lodging due to increased growth of lateral shoots.

Starpro fungicide quickly penetrates the plant within 2-4 hours, so its high effectiveness is maintained even after rainfall occurs several hours after spraying. Starpro acts both preventively and after the appearance of symptoms of a fungal disease, maintaining a protective effect for 2-4 weeks, depending on the extent of infection and weather conditions.
Starpro fungicide should be used at an air temperature above 12°С. It can be mixed with many herbicides, insecticides, growth regulators, liquid fertilizers, as well as with other fungicides of contact and systemic action, but before preparing the working solution, a miscibility test of its components should be conducted. Fungicide Starpro in the recommended norms of use is non-toxic for bees.
