Mechanism of action:
Regalon-S, 15% v.r. a contact desiccant that does not have a systemic effect. The active substance, diquat, irreversibly binds to plant tissues, disrupting the process of photosynthesis. As a result of the reaction, hydrogen peroxide is formed, cell walls are destroyed, which allows water to evaporate quickly. It is better to carry out the treatment in the evening or during the day in cloudy weather because hydrogen peroxide decomposes under the action of ultraviolet rays.

To obtain optimal results, it is necessary to ensure high-quality spraying and ensure wetting of the treated objects. Use clean water. When processing, it is necessary to exclude damage to forest strips and other crops. When working with the drug Regalon-S, 15% v.r. it is important to correctly determine the timing of desiccation. Start processing crops when the seeds are physiologically ripe at a humidity of 30–50%, depending on the crop. Processing at an earlier time can lead to a decrease in yield. The intensity of desiccation depends on the rate of consumption of the drug Regalon-S, 15% per year, the cultivated crop, the density of the plant stand, the littering of crops, weather conditions at the time of treatment and after it. Increase the rate of consumption of the drug with an increase in the foliage of the crop, at high humidity, as well as when it is necessary to carry out cleaning in a short time. In sunny, dry weather, the rate of desiccation increases. The flow rate of the working solution should be sufficient for complete wetting of the entire sheet surface.
