First, the so-called "mowing into rolls" is performed: the stem is cut 25 cm above the ground, leaving the lower pods in place. Mowing is done in the morning or in the evening. Next comes threshing. Threshing should also be planned for the morning or evening. The operation is possible at a humidity of 10-12 percent. For this, special devices are used forharvesters PKK-5.
