Foton / Europard TE-354 mini-tractor (Foton-354), Kiev region.

Foton/Europard-TE354 all-wheel drive tractor is fully characterized by reliable equipment (power steering with a protected double-action hydraulic cylinder, rear differential lock) and high practicality. The installed four-cylinder diesel engine provides greater traction (8.9 kN) compared to thePhoton-244 (6.1 kN), and the wheelbase of the tractor exceeds the similarFoton-244 by 10 cm. The exterior design is distinguished by an attractive stylish hood with plastic inserts and modern headlights. The instrument panel is also presented in an updated form.

Two hydraulic pumps are used in the hydraulic system of the tractor: one supports the operation of the power steering, the other - the hydraulic system of the tractor. Protection against accidental starting of the engine is installed (the starter works only when the clutch is pressed), protection on the exhaust manifold, a protective cover on the transmission, a protective mesh in front of the radiator. Air filter of the inertia-oil type. The priority feature of the tractor is ensuring the function of correct weight distribution.

The front axle is swinging, with on-board gearboxes, which provides an increase in ground clearance, a reduction in the size of the main gear housing. The hinged connection of the front axle allows it to be adjusted to uneven ground regardless of the position of the frame and rearwheels. The design features of the wheel installation determine the possibility of adjusting the track of the front and rear axles.

The equipment also includes:

• two-speed PTO;

• front and rear pendulum-type towing device;

• front loads;

• hydraulic outlet;

• adjustable rear wheel hubs;

• separate brake pedals with parking function;

• electric torch heater.

In the operator's working area, there are practically handles on the wings, a spring-loaded seat (with shock-absorbing suspension and adjustment for weight and height), control levers, a combined instrument panel with frosted anti-reflective glass. The instrument panel displays data on the tractor's operating parameters (engine speed, hours of operation, coolant temperature, remaining fuel). When the ignition is turned on, a "test run" of all arrows from zero to maximum is performed. There are control lights: low oil pressure, glow plug operation, gauges, high beam, turn signals, and others. All keys are illuminated.

For the purpose of safe driving, spherical rear-view mirrors, a handle for turning the steering wheel, metal mudguards on the fenders of the rear wheels, an emergency alarm and a powerful sound signal are installed. The brake and clutch pedals have stops that prevent the operator's feet from slipping during operation. The headlights are equipped with high and low beams, dimensions, turns with LED lamps and blue reflectors. Two-section lanterns - with red and orange diffusers and red reflectors. Additional lighting when working at night is provided by the rear working light.
