Potato digger single-row transporter designed for mechanized digging of potatoes, harvesting of other root crops (beet, carrots, onions, large garlic). The advantageous features of the unit include increased grip width (60 cm) and length of the conveyor (130 cm), which guarantees the maximum possible extraction of root crops from the ground, as well as high-quality cleaning from stuck mud. High efficiency of digging is achieved due to the use of 3 high-strength forged knives-blades, which cope with the task of cutting layers even on heavy and wet soils.

Elevator is equipped with a shaking device with an elliptical star, which allows for the initial screening of earth and stones. The movement of potatoes by a belt-rod conveyor in a stepped order (horizontally and vertically) ensures more thorough cleaning. Laying the crop in even rows on the field is carried out by guide tubes. With the help of transport wheelsthe wheel is regulated the depth of processing, and the possibility of uniform sinking of the wheels into the soil ensures the high maneuverability of the unit.

We pay attention to the role of cut-off discs, which are purchased separately (they are installed on the digger in front). Their main task is to cut the soil layer with potatoes of the required width to avoid undermining the extra layers of soil with the main knife. Such an additional function of the unit reduces energy consumption, which, in turn, contributes to a decrease in the cost of the crop.
