Potato digger KTN-1-44 is designed for fast and high-quality harvesting of potatoes. As a spring unit, it is used with mini-tractors with a capacity of 16 hp.

Functionally, the tool ensures the digging of potato tubers from the soil (efficiency is achieved due to the use of a forged ploughshare), cleaning and laying on the surface, which in the future greatly facilitates the manual work of harvesting. The design is simple and reliable in operation, made of durable materials (withstands moderate mechanical obstacles), has a number of advantages.

With the help of transport wheelswheels the processing depth is adjusted and the depth uniformity is controlled, which ensures increased maneuverability of the unit. An innovative improvementis a belt conveyor (115 cm long), consisting of metal rods, and the presence of a shaking device with an elliptical star, which allows initial cleaning of potato tubers from adhering soil and mud. The structural feature of the model also guarantees the stability of the tool and prevents the conveyor belt from shifting from side to side during operation.
