Creation method. Individual selection from the hybrid combination KhK1/Khersonskaya 91-708 of the best line.

Approbation signs:
variety lutescens, the ear is white, spineless, of medium size (9-10 cm), pyramidal, medium-thick, spike scale oval-lanceolate, its shoulder bevelled, of medium width. The tooth is straight, short. Moderate carina. The grain is red, egg-shaped, large.

Economic and biological characteristics.
- A variety of intensive type for non-irrigated and irrigated agriculture, universal use on different agricultural backgrounds.
- Harvest potential – 9.5-10.0 t/ha.
- In the state variety test, it showed the maximum yield on average in the Steppe zone, respectively 7.47 t/ha, Forest Steppes – 7.79 t/ha, Polesye – 6.31 t/ha (including in the DSS: Volnyanskaya – 9.18 t /ha, Myrhorodskaya - 9.85 t/ha).

Medium-sized, plant height 100-105 cm. Resistant to lodging (8-9 points), shedding andgermination of grain in the ear.

Frost resistance is higher than average. Drought resistance and high temperature resistance.

- Resistant to powdery mildew, brown rust, weakly affected by septoria, fusarium is not affected by volatile and solid soot.
- The quality of grain meets the requirements for strong and valuable wheat: weight of 1000seeds 41.3-50.2 g, protein content in grain 13.2-15.2%, gluten - 31.5-45.7% (I and II groups), flour strength - 290-305 a. a., the volume of bread from 100 g of flour is 650-750 ml, the overall grade of bread is 4.8-5.0 points; glass visibility 94-97%.

Agrotechnical requirements:
it is advisable to sow the variety after the best predecessors. It reacts well to the increase of the agricultural background and irrigation. Sowing times and sowing rates are generally accepted for the zone. In the South of Ukraine, sowing was done in the third decade of September until October 5-6 at a rate of 4.5 million/ha, on irrigated fields - 4.0-4.5 million/ha.

Features of the variety.
One of the most winter-hardy varieties in Ukraine. Under very unfavorable conditions, it overwinters by 92-95% (plants survive 85 days under ice). Forms a large aligned graingrain.

Since 2009, the variety has been included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine for Steppe (irrigated and non-irrigated lands), Forest Steppe and Polesia.
