ECONOMIC SIGNS:
Hybrid
rye JUPITER, F1 — a high-yield crop of intensive type, potential yield more than 95 - 100 t/ha.
QUALITY OF GRAIN:
The grain is large, oval, gray-green in color. Weight of 1000 grains 34-37 g. Number of fall 280 - 330 s. The baking qualities of the hybrid JUPITER, F1 are good: the volume of bread is 350 ml, the overall baking score is 4.6 points.
AGROTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Seed production Hybrid hybridization sites are established in accordance with the requirements of spatial isolation (1500 - 2000 m) from rye crops. The rate of seed sowing in the hybridization areas should be from 2.0 to 3.0 million similar grains per hectare. when growing a hybrid for commercial sowing, the sowing rate should not exceed 3.5 million similar grains per hectare.
FEATURES OF THE HYBRID:
An important point in the technology of growing hybrid rye is the features of sowing - the depth of planting seeds. The knot of tillering in rye is laid in the upper zone of tillering at a depth of 2 cm, regardless of the sowing depth. Increasing the sowing depth to 3-4 cm or more leads to weak seedlings and, as a result, to a decrease in productive tillering. Rye sowing dates are from September 10 to October 15, the dates need to be adjusted depending on the weather conditions. = /
