Advantages of the drug ZEAGRAN® 350:
controls more than 40 types of dicotyledonous weeds, including birch mustard and quinoa;
works better in arid conditions compared to soil herbicides;
quick action, stops weed competition in 3-4 hours after application.
Application of the drug ZEAGRAN® 350:
=
Corn
Consumption rate, l/ha - 1.6-2.0
Weeds - Annual dicots and some cereals
(//tractor-service.com)
Method, time of processing - Spraying of crops in the phase of 3-5 leaves of the culture (VVSN 13-15)
Mechanism of action:
Terbuthylazine is adsorbed by roots and leaves of weeds, moving through the xylem, accumulating in meristems and leaves and disrupting photosynthesis, leading to the death of weeds. It has a clearly expressed soil effect, including to subsequent waves of annual weeds. Bromoxynil is a contact drug that is adsorbed by leaves and blocks the transport of electrons in the process of photosynthesis and disrupts the process of oxidative phosphorylation in sensitive species. Visual signs: leaf necrosis and weed death. The herbicidal effect is noticeable after 3-4 hours after spraying. Weeds die 3-7 days after treatment.
Absorption and movement in the plant:
It is absorbed by the leaves and root system of weeds.
Recommendations for use:
It is used when dicotyledonous weeds are in the phase of 2-4 leaves. It is not recommended to use before frost and immediately before or after precipitation. After a period of prolonged rains, it is recommended to wait for 2 sunny days in order to prevent manifestations of phytotoxicity. Tank mixtures are recommended to expand the spectrum of action and to control grass weeds:
ZEAGRAN 350 (1.6 l/ha) + ASTRAL (1.0-1.25 l/ha);
ZEAGRAN 350 (1.6 l/ha) + KIDEKA (1.0 l/ha);
ZEAGRAN 350 (1.0 l/ha) + ASTRAL (1.0 l/ha) + KIDEKA (1.0 l/ha).
The use of the drug on plants covered with dew and with possible subsequent temperature drops below 6°C can lead to the manifestation of phytotoxicity. The symptoms of which pass within a few days and do not affect the further development and yield of corn. If dicotyledonous weeds are in the phase of 4-6 leaves on high-humus soils with a heavy mechanical composition, apply a rate of 2.0 l/ha.
