What is chlorella?

It can easily get used in the body of animals and in small quantities it is found even in the intestinal tract of a person. At the same time, the algae is not a parasite, more precisely, its symbiosis with the organism produces a joint species. Chlorella has the ability not only to accentuate certain necessary elements in the body, but also to be the basis of auxiliary nutrition.

What is the help of chlorella?

What is bio-cleaning with the help of chlorella?
The bio-cleaning procedure is an annual introduction of basic and mineral fertilizers into the pond in order to form a suitable environment for the introduction of a stamp and the subsequent reproduction of micro-algae. Once in a reservoir, algae do not settle to the bottom, but settle in a layer of water 40-120 cm from the surface, where they begin to reproduce vigorously, consuming mineral fertilizers, thereby enriching the water with oxygen. Due to the release of oxygen, the presence of heavy metals and petroleum products is reduced.

With a high reproduction of Chlorella in the pond, the number of zooplankton will increase, thus increasing natural nutrition in the reservoir, which is favorable for fish breeding. Micro-algae in the reservoir are used as supplementary food for small crustaceans (daphnia, artemia and other organisms), which will later be used to feed and grow fry and older fish or crayfish.

Chlorella has the peculiarity of quickly multiplying in a pond, so you should monitor this process and control the population so as not to get the opposite result. Therefore, in order for the pond to be well-groomed and cleaned, it is necessary to regularly carry out mechanical cleaning of the reservoir or household pond in the country with the use of special equipment.

Technology of introduction and rapid growth of chlorella in a reservoir.
Chlorella is produced and sold as a suspension. Suspension is a nutrient medium in which algae swim. It has a deep green color and the physical properties of water. The suspension is introduced into the reservoir in the same form in which it was received by you. It is not necessary to dilute it.

Depending on the state of the reservoirs, the amount of applied suspension can vary: from 5 to 20 liters per hectare of mirror. The norm of 10 l/ha is considered optimal. Less can be applied if there is no problem with the "flowering" of the water and the goal is to create a good fodder base. 20 liters are applied in case of severe contamination of the water body of the NWW or if the water has a degraded chemical composition (pesticides, phosphates, etc.).

It is recommended to apply chlorella as evenly as possible over the entire surface of the reservoir, if this is not possible, then the suspension is poured into the upper part of the reservoir, that is, the goal is to evenly distribute chlorella over the entire reservoir.

For rapid growth of chlorella, it is desirable to apply organic and mineral fertilizers. They are introduced in the usual norms and depend on the state of the reservoir. The average values are:

✫ Ammonium nitrate — 10 kg per 1 hectare (1 time in 10 days).
✫ Superphosphate 1 kg per 1 hectare (1 time in 10 days).
✫Organic fertilizers — rotted cow manure 5 tons per 1 ha once an hour. Manure is spread over the edge of the water and applied in equal parts during the entire summer season (simultaneously with mineral fertilizers).
✫ Chalk or slaked lime 100-200 kg per 1 ha, once.
✫ Reeds are brought along the perimeter of the reservoir, tied into bundles once.
✫ Ammonium nitrate and superphosphate are previously diluted with water. Fertilizers are distributed evenly throughout the reservoir.
