The main difference of the MB-60BD chipper is the principle of operation, the working body of the chipper is a drum on which 2 knives are located along the entire length of the drum, the drum rotates at a speed of 2400 rpm, thanks to which the necessary air pressure is created to feed the chips through the discharge nozzle. The knives of the chipper are made of 40X steel and are double-sided, which significantly extends the service life of the chipper knives. As a matter of course, the knives are heat-treated on a modern TVC installation.

The productivity of the MB-60BD wood chipper is a maximum of 2 cubic meters of finished wood chips during operation. Productivity directly depends on the quality of preparation of raw materials and personnel involved in the work.
