Purpose:

contact-systemic insecticide for the control of a complex of rodent and sucking pests, including hidden animals, on the main agricultural crops, as well as on areas inhabited by locusts.

Characteristics of active substances:

imidacloprid belongs to the class of neonicotinoids (chlornicotinyls), exhibits systemic activity, has a contact-intestinal effect on many types of rodent and sucking harmful insects. Lambda-cyhalothrin belongs to synthetic pyrethroids, has a contact-intestinal effect, but, unlike most pyrethroids, it is also effective against phytophagous mites.

Range of action:

major pests of important agricultural crops. On cereal grains - harmful beetle, leeches, aphids, bread beetles, thrips, bread fleas, grain flies; on rape - cruciferous fleas, rape flower eater, scoops*, hidden octopus; on soybeans - acacia fireflies, whites, scoops*; on corn - stem corn butterfly; on tomatoes - Colorado beetle, leafhoppers, thrips; on sugar beets - weevils, aphids.

Mechanism of action:

the active substances of the insecticide have different mechanisms of action, so their combination makes it possible to achieve high efficiency. Imidacloprid has systemic and translaminar activity, penetrates into plants through leaves, stems and roots, is distributed through the parenchyma and moves through the xylem. Lambda-cyhalothrin remains externally on the treated surface of plants.

Borei® quickly inhibits the transmission of signals by the central nervous system of pests. Pests are affected both by direct contact during spraying and by feeding on treated plants, including inside them. This is especially important for the destruction of hidden pests, as well as phytophages that feed on the underside of leaves and on other parts where the working solution of the insecticide cannot reach.

Impact speed:

a few minutes after the drug enters the body of pests, they stop feeding and die within 24 hours.

Period of protective action:

on average - 14 - 28 days.

Features of the drug:

Borey® destroys populations of pests resistant to pyrethroids and organophosphorus compounds. The drug combines the speed of action (the so-called "knockdown" effect) with a long-term protection period. It retains its insecticidal activity in hot weather and under long-term exposure to intense sunlight.

Against the remaining types of harmful insects, treatment is carried out during the growing season of the crop, when pests appeared on the field in quantities exceeding the economic threshold of harmfulness. On grain crops, the drug can be used up to 2 times per season, withstanding the waiting period of 28 days.

Limit:

Borei® is highly toxic for bees (border protection zone for bees - at least 4 - 5 km, flight restrictions for bees - at least 120 - 140 hours).

Compatibility:

Borey® can be used in tank mixtures with fungicides, for example on grain crops - with Kolosal® Pro and Kolosal®. However, before using a specific mixture, you should conduct a test on the compatibility of the components.

Preparation of the working solution:

the working solution of the drug must be prepared immediately before spraying. First, it is recommended to prepare a mother solution of insecticide. To do this, the amount of the drug calculated for one refillsprayer should be mixed with water in a separate container to obtain a homogeneous suspension, not exceeding a concentration of 1:5 (20% solution). After that, the tank of the sprayer is half filled with water, the Borey® mother solution is poured into the tank. Then,

without turning off the agitator, you should add water to the tank to the full volume. The working solution must be used on the day of its preparation.

Consumption of working fluid:

for spraying during the seedling period - 100 - 200 l/ha, in other cases - 200 - 400 l/ha.
