Greenfort IG 480 herbicide (analog
roundup)
Purpose:
A non-selective systemic herbicide for the destruction of annual and perennial grass and dicot weeds, as well as shrub vegetation.
Packaging: 20 l canisters.
Active ingredient:
Isopropylamine salt of glyphosate, 480 g/l.
According to its composition, Greenfort IG480 is an analogue of the well-known Roundup herbicide, the active substance of which, like our drug, is glyphosate in the form of an isopropylamine salt. Greenfort IG480 allows you to destroy weeds even before they have time to harm the cultivated crop. The tool has no soil activity and should be applied immediately before sowing and before the emergence of seedlings. It is worth noting that the drug does not prevent the germination of seeds and very quickly breaks down in the soil into natural substances.

Drug form: Aqueous solution.
Characteristics of the active substance:
Glyphosate belongs to organophosphorus compounds. In the soil, the drug is quickly inactivated by microorganisms, so the active substance is inert in the soil. This active substance is continuous, systemic, with the ability to move in plants to the rhizomes.
Mechanism of action:
In the green parts of plants, the drug promotes the accumulation of ammonia, which is a strong cellular poison. The drug inhibits the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids, in particular phenylalanine and tyrosine. At the ultrastructural level, there is destruction of chloroplast membranes, swelling of the endoplasmic reticulum, and progressive disintegration of membranes. The first visual signs of herbicide action on annual weeds appear on the 3rd to 4th day, and on perennial weeds at least on the 7th to 10th day in the form of plant discoloration. Complete death of plants is observed within 2-2.5 weeks after treatment under favorable conditions and phase of plant development.
Drug consumption rate, 3 - 4 l/ha
