Mechanism of action:

The synergy of two active substances provides reliable protection. Copper chloride protects the plant from the outside thanks to its contact action. Tsymoxanil - a local and systemic component of KURZAT® M, discovered by the DuPont company - provides a preventive, protective and therapeutic effect. After treatment, cymoxanil quickly penetrates the plant and is redistributed in the leaves and stems. This compensates for the uneven distribution of the working solution on the plants during processing. The therapeutic effect persists even 1-2 days after treatment due to a hypersensitivity reaction (cymoxanil stops the development of the disease, thanks to the encapsulation of infected plant cells).

It is effective in combating the following diseases: mildew (Plasmopara viticola), blight of tomatoes and potatoes (Phytophthora infestans), downy mildew of onions (Peronospora destructor), downy mildew of cucumber (Peronospora cubensis). KURZAT® M has limited effectiveness in the fight against pathogens that cause root diseases. Cymoxanil mixtures are highly effective in the fight against dry spotting (Alternaria spp.) of potatoes and tomatoes.
