UMS 170 straw chopper in rolls is used in agriculture to chop straw rolls (wheat, barley, oat, rice) harvest residues of rapeseed, soybean, buckwheat, flax, lupine and other crops. Straight knives and a system of counter knives ensure high-quality grinding with a length of no more than 2-3 cm. Guides of the ground mass ensure a uniform spread of the ground mass up to 6.5 meters. The need for this unit increased with the reduction of livestock in farms, as a result of which straw was no longer harvested for fodder production. In order to clean the fields from it, straw is burned in a number of households. Undoubtedly, this is harmful to the soil, as it leads to a decrease in soil fertility. Meanwhile, straw is a valuable organic fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other substances necessary for plant growth. That is why it is economically advantageous not to burn it, but to plant it in the soil. Leaving plant residues and applying special agricultural methods for their use in
the quality of organic fertilizer make up the soil nutrition system. Straw decomposes and forms various humic components. With a grain yield of about 30 tons/ha and a grain/straw dry weight ratio of 1/1.2, up to 12 kg of nitrogen, 25 kg of phosphorus, and 25 kg of potassium remain in a field of one hectare. Of particular importance is not only the amount of straw per field, but also its quality. It will determine the efficiency of humus accumulation, the strengthening of the suppressive effect of culture on weeds, and the accumulation of phytopathogens in the soil. Finely ground and evenly scattered on the soil surface before the main autumn processing of straw creates a mulching layer. It, like a "blanket", protects the soil from sharp temperature changes, performing the function of optimizing the temperature regime. This method is also indispensable for farms that face the problem of moisture conservation, as mulch prevents the evaporation of moisture, and also absorbs moisture from the atmospheric air in the form of condensate. The fact that mulch prevents soil from wind and water erosion should not be overlooked. In turn, as practice shows, included serial shredders on combines reduce productivity by up to 25% and service life
harvesters from 10 to 25%, by the same amount (%) increase fuel consumption, and also lead to losses of grain up to 1.5%. (for 1000 tons of grain - losses amount to 15 tons of grain). STANDARD EXECUTION: • gearbox 540 rpm with overrunning clutch; • the possibility of height adjustment of the supporting wheels
wheels - the height of the bottom of the knives from the surface of the ground is adjustable: 5th position: from 50mm to 195mm; • three-point attachment to tractors of the I and II categories; • directed the crushed mass; • cardan shaft; • working organs: special knives and counter-knives; Warranty 1 hour Shredders successfully completed the 2011-2018 seasons. in 24 regions of Ukraine. According to users, the daily production was up to 50 hectares, seasonal - up to 1500 hectares without warranty refusals.
