Listed in the Register of Varieties since 2017.
The direction of use is grain.
The plant is tall 240-250 cm, does not bush. The cob is attached at a height of 90-100 cm.(//tractor-service.com)
The cob is 23-24 cm long, cylindrical in shape, the number of rows of grains is 16, the stem is red. Grain yield is 80-82%.
The grain is yellow-orange, tooth-like, rounded in shape.
Weight of 1000 grains 300-320 g.
The hybrid is characterized by intensivemoisture yield and responds well to improving growing conditions, has good resistance to lodging and the effects of major diseases and pests. It has good resistance to drought and heat.
Cultivation zone – Steppe, Forest Steppe, Polissia.
The recommended pre-harvest density of plants in the Steppe zone is 50-55, Forest-Steppe 80-85, Polyssia 85-90 thousand units/ha.
The average yield of grain in 12 points of environmental testing in 2013 was 9.00 t/ha, in 2014 – 8.22 t/ha with grain moisture at harvest of 21.4 and 17.2%, respectively, by year. Compared to the standard Solonyanskyi 298 SV, the yield advantage of the DN Fiesta hybrid in 2013 was 0.26 t/ha in 2014 - 0.96 t/ha with a 1-2% lower grain moisture content. In the ecological test of 2013, the grain yield of the hybrid was more than 10 t/ha at 5 points.
The maximum grain yield was recorded in 2014 – 12.24 t/ha at the Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences (Chabany).
