Investing in profits for agriculture means ensuring reliable protection of cultivated plants from aggressive external factors. It is about the organization of competent control of weeds, diseases and pests. The relevance of the use of herbicides is indisputable, it is a mandatory norm, an indispensable stage in the cultivation of many crops. To protect soybeans, as well as corn, flax and corn from weeds, the DuPont company developed the Harmona product. Selective, effective and economical herbicide that provides control of a wide range of annual dicotyledonous (broad-leaved) weeds.
также кукурузы, льна и колосовых зерновых от сорной растительности компания DuPont разработала продукт Хармони. Селективный, эффективный и экономный гербицид, который обеспечивает контроль широкого спектра однолетних двудольных (широколистных) сорняков.
Advantages of the product
Harmoni is a systemic herbicide with a large number of advantages. They favorably distinguish the product from analogues and explain the high popularity of the herbicide among farmers, confirmed by experience. All types and hybrids of corn, grain cereals (wheat and barley), as well as soybeans and flax crops are under reliable protection from two-leaf annual weed vegetation together with Harmony.
Herbicide properties:
high selective action in relation to cultivated culture;
excellent performance in the fight against annual dicotyledonous weeds;
rapid decay in the soil;
lack of restrictions on the organization of subsequent crop rotation;
the optimal companion for tank mixes, and for soybeans it is obligatory and practically irreplaceable.
Harmoni has one more quality, which, undoubtedly, is one of the main ones when choosing SZR - economy. Together with the convenient preparation form, the ease of preparation of the working solution, the herbicide deserves to become the number one tool in many farms!
Mechanism and spectrum of action
The active ingredient of the drug is thifensulfuron-methyl from the sulfonylurea class. The substance is absorbed by the leaf plates, and the movement is directed towards the growth points. There, thifensulfuron-methyl affects the process of cell division, stops their growth in young shoots and in the root system, inhibiting the biological synthesis of valine and isoleucine. Signs of depression of plants, yellowing of their tissues begin to become visible, on average, 6-7 days after processing the fields. The plant completely dies in 2-3 weeks.

Low-sensitive weeds under the action of the herbicide, although they do not die, they stop competing with the crop for nutrients and moisture. Harmoni shows high activity even in small doses in relation to Theophrastus's rope, styryce, quinoa, eastern itch, wild radish, Russian solyanka, shepherd's bag, field mustard, types of mountaineer, navel and many others. The herbicide is also good for suppressing the weedy grass common broom, sunflower
sunflower and rapeseed
Features of application
Harmonics to ensure the cleanliness of corn fields is not used on sugar varieties, parental lines and popcorn corn. The minimum dose (10 g/ha) is used together with the surfactant Trend 90 at the rate of 200 ml/ha. Without
sticker it is necessary to consume more product - 15 g/ha. In the case of combining additional means with active ingredients based on 2,4-D, 2,4-D and/or dicamba (for example, Titus Extra at a rate of 40-50 g/ha) to increase the herbicidal effect, the drug Harmoni is consumed in the indicated minimum dose.
There are three options for using Harmona herbicide to protect soybeans:
autonomous entry;
introduced with other SZR in tank mixtures;
introduced after spraying with soil herbicides.
Processing of Harmona soybeans as the main herbicide is carried out on medium and slightly weedy fields, with a predominance of weeds with maximum sensitivity. Optimum on narrow interrows with a width of 15-22 cm. If the plots are heavily weeded with ragweed, nightshade, quinoa or on crops with wide row spacing, the drug is combined in tank mixtures with means based on bentazon (1.5-2.0 l/ha) and imazamox (0.7-0.8 l/ha ). Harmoni is also perfect for insurance spraying when soil herbicides have failed, or for preventing subsequent waves of weed germination. Tank mixtures of herbicide and other means based on imazetapyr are prohibited, as well as alternate spraying with them. Application of graminicides to soybeans is carried out with a minimum 5-day interval after using Harmona.
The herbicide is used at the rate of 15-20 g per 1 ha of crops for winter wheat crops and 10-15 g per 1 ha for spring barley and wheat crops. In both cases, the treatment of Harmona is carried out in combination with 200 ml of surfactant Trend 90 per 1 ha of crops. On spring types of cereals, it is possible to combine the herbicide with the Poynter preparation (15 g/ha) in tank mixtures.
To ensure the protection of sowing flax, it is allowed to combine Harmona with preparations 2M-4X at the rate of 600 ml/ha. In this case, the consumption of herbicide is 10 g/ha. In fields sown with flax, it is not recommended to use the surfactant Trend 90. Graminicides are applied at intervals of 5 days.
