SU-8 seeders, intended for dotted sowing of calibrated and uncalibrated maize seeds, sunflower and other crops with the simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers and soil rolling in the rows. In the SU-8 seeder, the creation of a vacuum is ensured by the VR-1 fan installed on the seeder, driven by the PTO of the tractor
tractor. The bearing beam of the seeder frame is the receiver of its pneumatic system. The SU-8 seeder is aggregated with tractors with a traction force of 0.9 to 2 tons. The seeder is equipped with plastic
grain and fat hoppers.
The principle of operation of the seeder is as follows. By means of the transmission mechanism from the support-drive wheels, the rotation of the seed-seeding discs and augers of the fat-seeding apparatus is carried out. With the help of a vacuum, the seeds are sucked to the holes of the rotating disc located in the discharge zone and transported from the intake chamber to the discharge zone. The removal of excess seeds that have been sucked into the holes back into the intake chamber is carried out by the discharge fork. The coulter makes a furrow, first lays the fat, they are sprinkled with earth, and then, in the furrow, the seeds fall so that there is no contact between the seeds and the fat. The wrappers close the furrow that the
rolling wheel compacts the soil, creating contact between the seeds and the soil and conditions for them to absorb moisture, and the plume levels the surface of the field and creates a mulched layer of soil.
