Wheat seeds MASON
UAH 50,000/t
A special program was developed for the selection of this variety of winter wheat, the result of which was the MASON variety, which has incredibly high resistance to cold, high bushiness and excellent regeneration ability.
In addition, the MASON variety has a very high grain nature, gluten, and baking qualities. And all this against the background of amazing yield results.
MASON has special qualities for late autumn sowing, which gives producers high temporal flexibility of sowing and production and economic freedom of action.
The MASON soft wheat winter variety was scientifically developed on the basis of nano-technology by the transformation of wheat DNA cells, by the Canadian holding SERTIS HOLDING GROUP, as well as the International Agricultural Research Center for the arid regions of Western Asia and North America.
This variety of transgenic wheat was developed in Canada in 2016. The MASON variety was tested for frost resistance in 2017. in the harsh, frosty climate of Canada, in the northern agricultural provinces of Manitoba, British Columbia, Nanawut, in Russia in the Khabarovsk Krai, Irkutsk, Rostov Krai, as well as in North America in the states of North Carolina, Alaska, Michigan, where the air temperature since January 2017 dropped to -45 C* in combination with strong gusts of wind.
Varietal tests for drought resistance were held in the EEC countries, South Africa in the province of Sutherland, where tem. in winter it drops to - 25 C* and in summer to + 52 C*, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.
The height of MASON wheat plants is 115 cm, the bush is upright, the coefficient of wheat bushiness is 22 stems, each stem is thick and filled with connective tissue.
Distinctive feature of the transgenic wheat variety from other common wheat varieties:
1) This variety of Canadian transgenic wheat can be sown for 10 years in a row, as it does not lose its properties.
2) It is characterized by good frost resistance up to — 45 C* in a dry winter, without snow cover in combination with strong winds, due to isolated genes from ocean brown algae, fucus vesiculata that can withstand temperatures of — 60 C* growing on the bottom of the Arctic Ocean, as well as from plants colobanthus antarctic thick-skinned.
3) Wheat is resistant to abiotic stresses - tolerates spring temperature changes well, frosts in the stage of full plant development up to - 35C*.
4) Drought resistance up to + 60 C* due to genes introduced into the DNA structure of wheat T. persivalii Hubbard, T. turgidum L., and a set of genes transformed from Gladonia alpinum, which can withstand temperatures of +101 C*, and introduced by transformation into DNA cells wheat.
5) Increased resistance to soil salinization due to the transformed cells of the soleros plant (salicomia europea), the concentration of salts in groundwater up to 230 g/l.
6) Has the resistance gene H — 6 to the Hessian fly.
7) MASON also has stable immunity to all fungal diseases of wheat, as well as to viruses that affect common varieties of wheat, such as (root rot, various types and forms of wheat bacteriosis, powdery mildew, snow mold, dwarf rust, reticulated and bordered spotting, powdery mildew and false powdery mildew and stone mildew, stem melanosis, ergot, septoriosis, fusarium head blight, etc.) and is practically not affected by these diseases.
8) Due to the powerful stem, it is resistant to lodging and shedding, as well as ear failure.

9) Wheat is harvested directly by harvesters, as the grain ripens evenly on the ear and does not require desiccation.
10) High productivity due to the length of the ear of 20 cm, the wheat bushiness coefficient of 22 stalks, as well as the number of grains in the ear up to 160 pieces and six row ears.
11) It differs from other varieties of wheat by its high gluten content of 38%.
This variety of transgenic wheat was sown in Ukraine in 2017 and showed excellent results with a yield of 120 cents per 1 ha.
The weight of 1000 seeds is 51 grams.
The yield potential of the Canadian transgenic MASON winter wheat variety is 150 cents per 1 ha.
Germination is 98%
Germination energy — 98%
Varietal purity — 100%
Humidity is 11%.
The optimal sowing rate of MASON transgenic winter wheat per 1 ha is 150 kg or 3 million pieces. It is sown with the usual
севалками зерновыми на глубину заделки семян 5 см — 6 см.
Посев озимой пшеницы сорта MASON начинается с 1 сентября и продолжается включительно по 30 октября.
Insecticides: Volaton 50% — 1.5 l per 1 — ha or Decis 2.5% k.e. — 0.25 liters per 1 — ha or Tsymbush 10% k.e. - 0.5 liters per 1 ha.
Herbicides: Tryallate 50% q.e., or Avadex BV 48% q.e. in a dose of 2.5 l/ha is used to fight against gorse, for the destruction of dicots 2.4 D amine salt 40% q.c. — 2 kg/per 1 hectare, and for the fight against gorse and bristly illoxan 36% k.e. 3 kg per 1 ha, Granstar ultra 25 grams per 1 ha in the 2-3 leaf phase.
Fertilizers: rates of fertilizer application (kg/ha) are calculated taking into account the content of nutrients in the soil, their removal by plants per unit of harvest, the coefficients of utilization of nutrients from the soil and fertilizer. The main fertilizer is intended to increase the level of plant nutrition throughout the growing season. Wheat responds well to organic fertilizers. General recommendations: 120 kg of nitroammophoska per 1 ha is applied when sowing or after sowing wheat and 120 kg in the spring.
The vegetation period of transgenic winter wheat of the MASON variety from sowing to harvesting is 280 days.
Harvesting Winter transgenic wheat MASON variety is harvested with Don, Niva, Zhondyr, Kays combine harvesters.
Moisture requirements: winter wheat is bushed in autumn and spring. Increased tillering is observed with sufficient humidity and a temperature of 8-10°С. The root system of winter wheat penetrates to a depth of up to 2 m and makes good use of moisture from the root layer. Autumn precipitation contributes to a higher yield of grain compared to the yield of straw. Spring precipitation enhances the growth of vegetative mass and creates good conditions for the emergence of new shoots. From spring awakening to earing, winter wheat consumes about 70% of the total water requirement for vegetation, in the period from flowering to waxy grain maturity - 20%.
