Two-component systemic fungicide with a long period of protection of grain crops, sugar beets, rapeseed, soybeans andgrapes from a complex of diseases
Purpose:
two-component systemic fungicide for the protection of grain crops, sugar beets, rapeseed, soybeans and vineyards against major diseases.

Active substances:
propiconazole, 300 g/l and tebuconazole, 200 g/l.

Preparative form:
microemulsion concentrate. The system of auxiliary substances (surfactants and adjuvants) specially selected for this preparation form provides a working fungicide solution with a particle size of less than 200 nanometers, which leads to a higher, compared to emulsion concentrates, penetration of active substances into plants and, as a result, to a higher fungicidal activity of Kolosal Pro.

Characteristics of active substances:
both active substances belong to the chemical class of triazoles, but differ in the spectrum of suppressed pathogens, mutually complementing each other.

Range of action:
the most important diseases of grain crops (brown rust, stem rust, yellow rust, dwarf rust, powdery mildew, septoriosis, pyrenophorosis, rhynchosporiosis, striped, net and dark brown spots); sugar beet (cercosporosis, powdery mildew, fomosis); rapeseed (alternaria, powdery mildew, fomosis); soybeans (cercosporosis, septoriosis, ascochytosis, anthracnose, alternariosis); grapes (oidium).

The mechanism of action of the drug:
tebuconazole and propiconazole are inhibitors of ergosterol biosynthesis in cell membranes of phytopathogens. As a result, the walls of the causative cells are destroyed, the growth of the mycelium stops, then it dies. The active substances move acropetally along the xylem (from the bottom up the stem to the ear and from the base of the leaf to its tip), quickly absorbed by the vegetative parts of plants.

Tebuconazole has a prophylactic and curative systemic effect, highly effective against powdery mildew and rust fungi.

Propiconazole has a prophylactic, strong curative and exterminating systemic effect, suppresses sporulation of pathogens, is highly effective against various spots. It also has a growth-regulating effect, which ensures better assimilation of carbon dioxide by plants and, accordingly, increases the activity of photosynthesis in plants.

Speed of impact:
Colossal Pro penetrates into the plant through the leaves and stems within 2-4 hours after treatment, quickly and evenly distributes throughout the plant tissues, prevents the penetration and spread of pathogens and stops the infection that has already occurred.

Period of protective action:
fungicide protects crops from infection for 4-5 weeks. Due to high penetrating ability, Colossal Pro is resistant to rain.

Possibility of emergence of resistance:
if the recommended consumption norms and technology of drug use are observed, the emergence of resistance in pathogenic organisms is unlikely.

Phytotoxicity, culture tolerance:
not phytotoxic if the application regulations are observed.

Storage conditions:
the drug is stored in warehouses specially designed for pesticides, in hermetically sealed, undamaged factory packaging at a temperature of minus 15 to plus 35 °C.
