The principle of action of the Euro-Lightning herbicide

The herbicide includes such active substances as imazamox and imazapyr. These elements quickly penetrate the weed through the leaves and root system. By transiting through the xylem and phloem, substances are found in plant tissues, after which they act as an ALS or AHAS enzyme. This enzyme is not found in animals, it is found only in bacteria and flora. As a result, the drug slows down the synthesis of amino acids, and from this moment on, the reverse report of the weed's vital activity begins.
