Mechanism of action:
The growth of weeds and their competition with crops stops within a few hours after Grodil® Maxi treatment. In the first 5–7 days, chlorotic spots form on the affected weeds and growth points die, and death occurs within 3–4 weeks after spraying, depending on weather conditions.
Properties:
Grodil® Maxi is an innovative oil-dispersed formulation, created and patented by Bayer scientists and obtained thanks to the application of ODesi technology. This formulation contains active substances dispersed in a special complex of oil derivatives and adhesive. During dissolution in water, an extremely fine dispersion of microscopic complexes of active substances with oil and adhesive is created.
Thanks to this, the oil-dispersed formulation has unique properties that provide:
- the best retention of drops of the working solution on the leaf surface of weeds;
good wetting and uniform distribution of the working solution on the surface of the leaves;
-long-term presence of a liquid film of oil and adhesive, which ensures full penetration of the active substances into the leaves without their crystallization.

Consumption rate of Grodil® Maxi on corn is 0.1 l/ha.
On corn, Grodil® Maxi is safe for the culture, starting from the phase of 2 leaves until the appearance of the 7th leaf. However, the optimal herbicidal effect is ensured by application up to the 5th leaf. The best effect against weeds is achieved at the stage: annuals — 2–6 leaves, perennial dicotyledons (in the rosette phase) and podmarennik — up to the 6-ring phase.

Application technique:
Fine-drop spraying with a rate of flow of working fluid of 150–300 l/ha is recommended for application by field units depending on its type: for example, suitable flat-jet nozzles, liquid pressure — 2.5–3 kg/cm2, movement speed of units — 6–7 km/h. For ultra-small-volume and aerial spraying, the application rate is 50 l/ha.
