Hybrid sunflower Leyla is the best representative of French selection on the market of Ukraine. The parent lines of this hybrid were bred by the scientific staff of the Evralys company. The advantages of this hybrid are high drought resistance and tolerance to 6 races of sunflower. Such features of Leila's sunflower make it possible to grow sunflower in regions affected by lupus, but without using the "Clean Field" technology. It is recommended to sow this hybrid in the Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions.

In addition to the mentioned advantages, Leyla is genetically resistant to most sunflower diseases, flexible to growing conditions. The potential yield for the vegetation period of 105-110 days is 53 t/ha, but when sowing in extremely arid regions, one should expect an actual yield of 25-27 t/ha. Also, Leyla's hybrid has a good oil content - about 51%.
