Motorblock Centaur MB1012E - 5 is a diesel engine with a power of 12 hp. The working volume of this engine is 815 cm3. The motor is cooled by a radiator. The width of the set of permalloy plates (electrical steel) was also increased from 10 mm to 13 mm, and due to the reduction in the diameter of the pulley installed on the generator shaft, its revolutions increased. All this made it possible to increase the power of the generator from 90 to 200 W and achieve a stable voltage from 13.0 to 14.7 V.
